About the client and the task
The Allo retail chain team had a clear business objective — to create a comprehensive campaign with a single concept covering four advertising flights (periods) while staying within a limited budget. The first part of this campaign was a video celebrating Allo’s 27th anniversary. Let’s wish happy birthday and share how we made the case!

Production process
We initially had several detailed concepts for how the video could unfold. But once the client chose the “Podyvysia-ysia” (“Take a look-look”) idea, we moved forward with it. We decided to make the video in a recitative style. That’s how we came up with smartphones-ones, tablets-lets, and lots of other gadgets-ets featured in the Allo marketplace. The echo effect perfectly enhanced the impression of this variety.

When it came to creating the sound, we first generated around two hundred song variations in different styles using AI. This gave us a wide creative space for experimentation. We presented the client with seven of the best demos to choose from. Then, together with the composer, we refined the selected version, even adding some successful moments from other demos. After recording the human voiceover, we got the final track — one that left everyone satisfied. This early collaboration with AI helped us save a significant amount of time in the production process.
For the visual concept, our goal was to make it coherent and harmonious with the echo effect that defines the soundtrack. We researched several references and even drew partial inspiration from the winning animation in the classic Solitaire game.

We also decided that the central character — or rather, the face — of our video and key visuals would be a heroine whose expressions and emotions reflect the words from the recitative. To create her face, we generated about 200 AI variations. Here, the brand-new Nano Banana model came in handy — it was released just a few days before the deadline. The model made it easy to preserve a character’s appearance across different angles and emotions. Without Nano Banana, the video would have turned out quite differently. But we’re always on top of new technologies and never afraid to work with them, even if they were released just yesterday!

Overall, we successfully met the client’s business goals and managed to build the campaign from scratch in just over a month. The one-minute video is packed with details — engaging both to watch and to listen to. Check it out and stay tuned for the next ones!
